The Orion Marketplace is how new capability reaches your practice: FHIR R4 apps, installed in one click, running inside the EHR you already use. Built by us, by specialty developers, or by someone you hire.
Being built now, shipping in 2027. Early-access practices help decide what lands first, and pay nothing extra for the platform itself (some third-party apps may carry their own price).

Extensibility is worthless if it costs you sleep. Nothing reaches your patient data without passing review and getting your explicit approval, and nothing changes underneath you without your say.
Reviewed before it lists
Every app is submitted to us and reviewed before it can appear in the Marketplace. Nothing self-publishes into your practice.
Access you approve, and can revoke
Each app declares exactly what it reads and writes. You see that list before installing, every call is audit-logged, and you can pull access whenever you want.
Updates on your terms
You're notified when a new version ships, update with one click, and roll back if it isn't right. No silent changes mid-clinic-day.

Build on Orion.
A real developer platform, not an integrations page. Sign up on your own, build in a sandbox against live-shaped data, submit when it's ready, and reach every Orion practice through the Marketplace.
Sandbox
Standalone developer signup with its own tenant, storage and API quotas, an activity feed of every call you make, and bulk export.
Package
Bundle the app, declare your extension points and the scopes you need, and submit it for review from draft.
Approval
We review behavior, scope requests and data handling. Approved apps move from draft to published.
Published
Listed in the Marketplace and installable by any practice in a single click. You don't sell one integration at a time.
App Bridge API
Lifecycle events, the context an app is rendered in, declared extension points, and per-install storage.
Webhook subscriptions
Subscribe to FHIR events and get them delivered. A documented catalog tells you which events carry PHI.
Analytics
Installs, active practices, retention and errors, so you can see how the app is actually doing.
Monetization
Set pricing, run subscriptions, and get paid out. Practices are billed through Orion, not by you.
Reviews & ratings
Feedback from real practices, visible on your listing: the same signal buyers use everywhere else.
Version management
Ship updates, notify installed practices, and support one-click update, with rollback if a release goes wrong.
