What specialties does Orion support?

The short answer

Orion is built PT-first, physical therapy is its beachhead and its documentation, billing, and scheduling are designed around rehab workflows. It also supports occupational therapy (OT) and speech-language pathology (SLP), and its app marketplace (coming in 2027) will let clinics add specialty apps to tailor the system to their exact mix of services.

Being PT-first matters: rather than a general medical EHR with a therapy skin, Orion’s evaluations, plans of care, and progress notes are built for rehab from the ground up. OT and SLP teams get the same purpose-built foundation.

The self-serve app marketplace (on FHIR R4, coming in 2027) is how Orion flexes to multi-specialty practices, you install only the capabilities your clinic needs, in one click, without custom development.
